I spent my Saturday a couple weeks ago at the Beaverton Farmer’s Market. Farmer’s markets in Portland have become quite the cottage industry, and you can find one in just about any part of town on any given Saturday and many weeknights. Great local produce as well as locally produced cheeses, sauces, meats, baked goods and more, are common fare. Most offer some form of arts and/or crafts and entertainment. Sometimes I just go to take pictures or people watch, but invariable I always end up taking home something delicious.
